Consulting Practice: Financial Management

You will work closely with senior consultants and company leadership to envision a client’s future state digital solution, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions. Typical activities performed by the Technology Analyst include: 

  • Facilitate internal and client-facing discussion around the technical characteristics around an envisioned solution. 

  • Lead in the analysis of technical processes, systems and applications, data, and information flow(s) through interactive sessions with the client and teams. 

  • Document end-user technology system requirements to implement a target solution. 

  • Synthesize technical architecture, logical diagrams, and specifications into polished deliverables and artifacts. 

  • Perform basic project management functions around the pipelining of key deliverable activities. 

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field. 

  • 1-3 years of work experience with designing and implementing IT solutions. 

  • Ability to harvest key technical information from internal and client-facing conversations and convert that into technical design documentation. 

  • Project experience with authoring system design, infrastructure, data flow, data integration / middleware, information flows, and logical diagrams. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance 

Desired Qualifications 

  • Familiarity with financial systems and technology solutions.

  • Certifications or education similar or related to System Engineering or Information Systems. 

  • Familiarity or affinity with finance and accounting. 

  • Knowledge around conducting process design and the re-engineering of processes
